Compiled: Has Wakefield Music Reached Extinction?

In January 2017 Rhubarb Bomb posted a series of articles looking at the current state of music in Wakefield. It proposed a cycle where a dip in commitment or interest in one part led to a decline in the next, with the loop continuing in perpetuity if nothing is done to stop the decline. And that in Wakefield, this process has been going on a very long time, possibly to the point where Wakefield Music is nearing extinction. They were among the most popular articles Rhubarb Bomb has ever published and created alot of discussion.
